Worship
Glorifying God by making disciples all begins with our worship. No aspect of life is exempt from the aim of the glory of God, which is our logical response to what God has already done for us in and through Jesus Christ. When we gather corporately, we preach the gospel to ourselves through singing, praying, teaching, preaching, and through baptism and communion. As we worship God with our entire being—mind, will, emotions, and physical strength—we glorify God and draw others to come to worship Him also.
Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:25 AM for our worship service and at 11:00 AM for our Adult Bible Fellowship hour.

Community Nights
Each month, the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday nights are set aside for Community Nights. All are welcome to participate! Community Nights are designed to help us build community within PLBC and to invite others into that community. In other words, this is a time to develop deeper relationships within the church, to grow together spiritually, and to encourage and serve one another. Community Nights are not formally organized. Rather, we encourage our members to pray about who to connect with, and to take initiative to gather diverse groups in their homes for intentional fellowship. It’s a great chance to get to know new friends at PLBC, to hear salvation testimonies, to pray, to disciple, to review a recent sermon or to discuss a Scripture passage.

Discipleship
The Bible is clear that to be a Christian means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. In the context of the local church, it is the mission of our lives to reach out to the people around us and call them to also follow Christ. We aim to clearly thread this mandate through all aspects of our ministry: to actively engage in the life-long endeavor to know God’s Word, to pass it on, and to actively make disciples. We also aim to equip our people for discipleship by studying the Word together and by encouraging them to develop humble, honest relationships. Christ is coming again soon and we desire, by God’s grace and power, to present Him with many disciples.

PLBC 101
We believe that church membership is a Biblical component of Christian discipleship. Therefore, we seek to commit to one another’s holiness by joining together in this way. Attend PLBC 101 to hear Biblical teaching regarding the local church, and to gain an overview of who we are and what we believe. This class takes place during two ABF class times, and is held twice per year. Taking this class does not obligate anyone to church membership, but it is a requirement for those who desire to join our church. We are always thrilled to add new members to PLBC!
Service Opportunities
Discover the joy of serving the body of Christ! One of the ways we pursue and live out discipleship is through serving those in and outside the church. God has gifted us to build up His church and to assist others. Use this page to learn about the many ways to engage in gospel-centered service at PLBC.
Giving
PLBC is supported by the generous gifts of its members and others who partner with us to proclaim the gospel in the greater Twin City area and beyond. Thank you for supporting the ministries of PLBC!
About Giving
Giving to the local church is an act of worship; it is our logical response of thankfulness for God’s saving grace in our lives. The act of giving allows us to express our love for God, to affirm our desire for spreading the Gospel to the nations, and to display our trust that God will be the One to provide our needs.
