PLBC ANNOUNCEMENTS

This Sunday, our sermon will be from Genesis 13, continuing to follow the journey of Abram after his unfaithfulness in Egypt. The text will call us to see that

God’s servant must continually repent and trust our God Who continually keeps His Word. He will not fail!

Outline:

1. God restores His servant to walk again with Him (1-4)

2. God’s servant responds by faith to trouble (5-7)

3. Walking by sight tempts once again (8-13)

4. God reaffirms His promise to His own (14-18)

Following our morning service (4/13), we will meet for Session 4 of our worship class: Worship in the Family with Pastor Sam Choi. 

Dan Pautz's mother, Gloria Pautz, passed away a few weeks ago after battling cancer.

Her funeral will be held at the church on today, April 11th. The visitation will begin at 9 AM, and the funeral will start at 11 AM. Following the service, there will be a meal provided by the church in the Fireside Room.

Ladies, the next Women's Bible Study Workship will be on April 12th at 9 am in the Fireside room, continuing to study through Philippians. We'd love to see you there, and if you have any questsions, please contact Sarah Choi. 

Join us for our Easter service on April 20th as we celebrate together our resurrected and returning Savior.

On April 18th, join us as we remember our crucified Lord and partake together in the Lord's Table. Our service will begin at 5:30 pm. 

On Easter morning, April 20th, join us for breakfast in the Fireside Room before our morning service. Breakfast will open at 7:30 AM and close at 9 AM.

Weekly giving from last week was $15,009.40. In addition, $390.00 was given towards General Missions and $100.00 to property improvements. $103.00 was given towards the Deacon's fund. In the last few months, funds from this account have been given to people in need to help with housing, food, and vehicle repair. So far this financial year, our weekly average is $9,941.01. Our weekly need is $10,813.75. We praise God for His provision through your generosity.

Prior Lake Christian Academy is raising funds to replace the old playground set due to age and safety. Please pray for provision and if you are interested in giving, you can give online at PLBC.church/give - designated, "playground equiptment".

Currently, PLCA is working with a business that purchases old playground sets from cities and resells them. It seems many sets will cost us anywhere from $18K to $25K plus additional costs for install as well as the rubber mulch.
